how to download music to psp

You want to learn how to download music to psp, well here it is.

It really isn't that hard to transfer files from your Windows PC to you Sony PSP but here is what confuses everyone. The "PSP Value Pack" doesn't have everything that you need. You're definately going to need a larger Memory Stick Duo as an example because 32MB just doesn't cut it.

What else you're going to need is a USB CABLE to connect from Windows PC to your Sony PSP. Luckily these are pretty easy to get. Check any cables that came with removable hard drives, digital cameras, printers and I'm sure you'll find one. Worst case you head down to Best Buy and pick one up for $8.

Alright when you've got this stuff here's what you're going to have to do. Plug the Sony PSP in the Windows PC with a USB Cable and plug your PSP into the wall. Make sure both things are on. In the PSP, click the "USB Connection" button (in the settings menu) and your PC should beep and tell you that it's found a new "removable disk". This is your PSP.

Open up My Computer on your PC and scroll down till you find the PSP. It will probably be the letters "E-Z" and will be the last one on the list. Now open up the folder and if there isn't a folder called PHOTO on it, make one by right-clicking in the folder. A menu should come up go to NEW and then FOLDER. Rename the folder PHOTO. Now you can drop any JPEG images you want to have viewable in your PSP while your oot and aboot.

Now if you want music, you do the same thing you just create a folder called MUSIC instead and drop MP3 format music files in there. ONLY mp3 works. So no wmv (windows media files) or whatever weird format Itunes uses. So your itunes music won't work on your psp.

Yeah, I'm amazing. Later.
